Title Sponsored by China Everbright Limited ("CEL", stock code: 165.HK) and presented by The 46th Hong Kong Arts Festival, a co-production of Canada’s circus Les 7 Doigts de la Main and Theatre Republique Kopenhagen - “Bosch Dreams” Asian Premiere (a total of 3 shows) were staged from 9-11 March 2018 in Hong Kong Cultural Centre. The show was widely welcomed by the general public.

CEL said, “We are honored to bring the arts performance with international standard to Hong Kong audience, therefore title sponsoring the Asian Premiere of “Bosch Dreams”. We believe it would bring the audience an unforgettable and memorable experience, and CEL will continue to support and promote arts development in Hong Kong.”

As a China-background financial institution based in Hong Kong, CEL has always strived for serving the community through corporate social responsibility events covering our four main themes namely “Bright Companion”, “Vitality Everbright”, “Education Support”, and “Arts Promotion”. In the area of “Arts Promotion”, CEL has been actively promoting local arts development by supporting various local art organisations like Hong Kong Ballet, Opera Hong Kong, etc. and as a first-time supporter of Hong Kong Arts Festival. On 12 March, Mr. Chen Shuang, JP was invited by Mr. Victor Cha, Chairman of Hong Kong Arts Festival to join the “Chairman’s Thank You Dinner”, to appreciate CEL and other sponsors for their support in Hong Kong Arts Festival and motivating local arts development.

A tribute to one of the most fascinating painters in art history, Bosch Dreams is a contemporary circus set in a surreal world of strange beings and fabulous animals. Immersing the audience in a canvas of realistic projections, the show depicts the supernatural universe of Dutch painter Hieronymus Bosch. Flowing through a string of episodes based on the artist’s life, the performance takes us on a surreal journey throughout the painter’s unique, colourful work, in a display of dozens of characters, contrasting atmospheres and emotions.
